INTIMATE PLAY

Ist das Chaos oder ist das Ordnung? Ist es beides zugleich? Irgendwo am Stadtrand von Berlin. Der Traum vom Eigenheim. Ähnliche Architektur findet sich überall im Land. Individualität aus dem Katalog. Dicht an dicht. Fertigmodule schaffen Uniformität, und doch wirkt alles zusammenhanglos, hingewürfelt, im Widerstreit. Und wo sind die Menschen? Ihr Lachen, ihre Stimmen, Musik aus den Fenstern? Nichts ist zu hören in der Mittagssonne. Nur der Dialog der Gebäude.

Is it chaos or is it order? Is it both at the same time? Somewhere on the outskirts of Berlin. The dream of having your own home. Similar architecture can be found all over the country. Individuality picked from the catalogue. Side by side. Ready-made modules create uniformity, and yet everything seems incoherent, just thrown together, in conflict. And where are the people? Their laughter, their voices, or some music playing? Nothing can be heard in the midday sun. Just the dialogue of the buildings.
